Agreement and service

These Terms form an agreement between you and CollegeLoveMatch for use of the CollegeLoveMatch website, accounts, matching and messaging features, digital memberships, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below.

CollegeLoveMatch is an online dating platform. We provide tools for introductions and communication, but we do not guarantee matches, compatibility, identity, background, intentions, conduct, or any particular outcome.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Initial access is limited to eligible students with a valid college .edu email address. You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly update information that changes.

You may not create duplicate, deceptive, fraudulent, or unauthorized accounts or allow another person to use your account.

Acceptable use

You must treat other members with respect and follow the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. Harassment, threats, hate, stalking, doxxing, impersonation, scams, solicitation, spam, illegal content, unwanted explicit content, and use by anyone under 18 are prohibited.

Human trafficking and sexual exploitation are strictly prohibited. You may not engage in, promote, advertise, recruit for, facilitate, aid, abet, encourage, or coordinate trafficking, sexual exploitation, grooming, coercion, sextortion, abuse, or any related unlawful activity. Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor is never permitted.

Do not scrape the service, bypass access controls, interfere with security, misuse another member's information, or use CollegeLoveMatch for commercial solicitation. We may remove content and warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give CollegeLoveMatch a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, improve, secure, and moderate the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content.

Paid memberships

Plus and VIP are digital subscriptions billed in U.S. dollars through Stripe. The price, billing interval, included features, and renewal terms are shown before checkout. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected monthly or annual interval until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal available from Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves paid access active through the end of the current billing period. See the Billing & Fulfillment and Refund & Cancellation policies for details.

Account deletion and records

You may request account deletion in Settings. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it through the Customer Portal before deleting your account. A deletion request does not by itself reverse completed subscription charges.

We may retain limited records when reasonably needed for fraud prevention, safety, disputes, enforcement, accounting, or legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service changes and availability

We may update features, eligibility rules, or these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our control.
