Information we collect

We process account identifiers, college email and verification status, age confirmation, profile details, preferences, photos, interactions, likes, matches, messages, reports, blocks, subscription status, referrals, support requests, and limited device, security, and analytics events.

We also receive information you choose to provide when you contact support or participate in campus programs and promotions.

Payments

Stripe processes payment details for paid memberships. CollegeLoveMatch receives transaction and subscription information such as a Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, plan, billing interval, payment outcome, and renewal or cancellation status. CollegeLoveMatch does not receive or store your full card number.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate members, verify eligibility, create profiles, provide discovery and messaging, process subscriptions, manage campus launches and referrals, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our policies, improve reliability, and understand service usage.

How we share information

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate CollegeLoveMatch, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication and application data, and Vercel for hosting. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect members or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your profile information is shown to other eligible members according to the service's features and your settings. We do not sell full payment card data, because we do not receive it.

Choices and account deletion

You can edit profile information, manage notification and block settings, use reporting tools, and request account deletion in Settings. You can manage a paid subscription separately through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and for legitimate safety, fraud prevention, dispute, accounting, enforcement, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it is needed.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so protect your password and notify Support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Adults only

CollegeLoveMatch is only for people age 18 or older and is not directed to children. Report suspected under-18 use through the in-app reporting tools or Customer Support.

Use the Customer Support page or email zach.build23@gmail.com for privacy questions or deletion requests. We may update this policy as the service changes; material updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
